Rear wheel locked, lcd registering throttle wattage, no response from motor
Hello everyone, I currently have an Original Sondors Fat Tire bike from 2016 (I believe). I purchased it from a friend who had performed some upgrades to it.
As the bike sits today:
Luna Storm 48v 20ah Battery Controller Model KT36/48ZWSRMD-SLSLD02 Rated for DC 36v or 48v, Rated current 12A Maximum current 25+-1A (Assuming this is from Luna as well) Original Motor Bafang RMG06 36v 350W(10) 26-1-1508195560-6 LCD Luna LCD Dashboard for Sondors KT-LCD3 Took the bike out for a ride the other day after it had been sitting in the garage for about a month and received a motor hall connection error on my LCD screen. Tried the usual unplugging the connection under the chainstay and making sure I had charged the battery. I'm wondering if I am able to replace the cable coming out of my motor (if that is the culprit) or if I need to replace the motor altogether. If that is the case, would anyone recommend I upgrade to a 48v motor? Would it make a difference/ work with my existing upgrades? I'm new to the forum and Ebike scene in general so I appreciate any help. Thanks!
I have had my Sondors Thin for about a year now & use it daily to get to work/home. I started noticing the bike was having trouble staying at full speed when the battery was running low a few months ago, it would keep me running at 19 instead of the full 20 when the battery was at about a quarter charge left(one bar on the screens battery indicator). Since then it has gotten progressively worse and is now down to only holding me at 16 with a low battery, when the battery is full the bike performs like it did straight out of the box but only for the first quarter of the battery or so. I have kept the bike factory except for the tires & inner tubes, I am running tubeless on the front & the standard setup on the rear at the moment, doesn't seem relevant but was advised to list any mods. I am wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for troubleshooting this problem, I am thinking it is the controller going bad because I have taken proper care of my battery per the instructions that came with my Sondors & the fact that it performs perfectly fine when the battery is full but I would like to get some other opinions on the matter before I start replacing/upgrading anything.

Has anyone tried to upgrade the thin bikes motor from the stock 350 to a more powerful one. I would like a plug and play one if possible. I'm ordering from Electro Bike World this weekend a LT48v 14Ah battery, 25amp KT controller and a KT-LCD3 as my bike fell over last week and cracked my screen and now doesn't work. Thanks Tim from Kansas.
Hello! I have ordered a Sondors Fold the European edition (I live in Greece)..... (still waiting )
After reading many posts on the forum I got somehow confused. I know that because the new EU law all the ebikes operated in europe must have max a 250w motor and 25km/h max speed.
In many posts I read that all Sondors with 250w motors, in fact are equiped with 350w motors and only the casing number changes and if you do also some changes from the lcd screen you can get even beter speed or power.
Can we have a clear answer if the European edition Sondors have a trully 250w motor?
Thanks in advance guys!
