I'm sorry for the delay. As you may have already noticed this forum is independently operated by owners and is not associated with the SONDORS Company as stated in the terms.
Anyway I can say SONDORS is not experiencing financial problems and also SONDORS is not playing games with you. Please allow some time to get a refund :)
SONDORS is a startup, and not a big Company like Amazon - things can take longer and fast customer support is definitively not the reason why SONDORS is that popular ;)


I'll make sure that they haven't forgotten you.

I got an email today, that the money had been refunded. So I hope everything will work out now...

@Andi: actually I did not mean to be impatient.  But after a month I thought ...:|

To be honest I had somehow expected that my post will get deleted. But It did not and I got helped out. So this is really cool!

Thank you for this great forum!


On the other hand I just signed up for the SONDORS mailing list. Maybe one day I will get the bike I woud like 9_9

Hello Earth,
I come from Germany and have problems with the delivery. I ordered in August and the delivery date was always postponed. The last delivery should be in January, now in April. I want to request a refund. Can you tell me how this is going to work? I paid by credit card. Is the money returned to the credit card in dollars?
Then I already lost about 100€ due to the exchange rate and 2 x foreign currency fees.

ich komme aus Deutschland und habe auch Probleme mit der Lieferung. Ich bestellte im August und der Liefertermin wurde immer wieder verschoben. Zuletzt sollte im Januar geliefert werden, jetzt im April. Ich will eine Rückerstattung beantragen. Kannst du mir Auskunft geben wie das Abläuft. Ich habe mit Kreditkarte bezahlt. Wird das Geld auf die Kreditkarte in Dollar zurückgezahlt?
Dann habe schon durch den Wechselkurs und 2 x Fremdwährungsgebühren ca. 100€ verlust.

Hi Alex, 

willkommen im Forum, es tut mir leid das deine Lieferung verschoben worden ist. Dies liegt wohl leider an Problemen in der Produktion oder auf dem Transportweg. SONDORS tut sein bestes hohe Qualitätsstandards einzuhalten. Dies ist derzeit anscheinend nicht gegeben weswegen die Bikes verzögert ankommen (das passierte auch in den USA mit verbogenen Fahrradgabeln aufgrund falsche Handhabe durch den Transporteur - Grund für Verzögerung EU kenne ich leider nicht es gibt sehr viele verschiedene Faktoren welche Schuld an der Verzögerung sein können). Ich kann dir aus eigener Erfahrung sagen, dass das Warten sich lohnt. Ich habe zu meiner Zeit etwa 8 Monate gewartet, mit Trolls die ständig behaupteten das es Fake/Betrug ist. (SONDORS war noch neu auf dem Markt)

Solltest du weiterhin eine Erstattung wollen, kannst du diese gerne unter support@sondors.com anfragen. (bitte auf Englisch) - Wie die Erstattung genau abläuft müsstest du bitte im selben Atemzug erfragen. Da Fremdwährungsgebühren eine Gebühr der Bank ist, bezweifle ich stark das diese erstattet werden. Solltest du also warten können, empfehle ich dir zu warten. 

Weiterhin muss ich dich darauf hinweisen das dieses Forum NICHT mit SONDORS Inc. assoziert ist, es ist unabhängig von Eigentümern der Fahrräder betrieben weswegen diese Auskunft keine offizielle Antwort der Firma SONDORS Inc. darstellt.
Dies hast du aber sicherlich bei der Registrierung bereits erfahren als du die Nutzungsbedingungen gelesen und akzeptiert hast. :)

      I ordered 2 Fold X white with 500W motors, 48V 14AH battery yesterday and received shipping confirmation today!
      They arrived on Jan 22.  The displays shipped separately and arrived about a week later.
