Zackly, some have installed steering tube extensions to raise the bars, (starting point for your search http://www.niagaracycle.com/categories/satori-easy-up-ad5-stem-riser-1-1-8-110mm-180mm-black ) their modifications are chronicled here in the forum, others have installed higher rise bars.

Yes,I bought a 1-1/8 x 25.4 adjustable stem on Amazon for $15        UC Adjustable Stem 130mm x 1-1/8" x 25.4 threadless and some Electra Mini Ape Hangars from the local bike shop $25   Electra-Mini-Ape-Hanger-Handlebar-Black.jpg

The 25.4 stem matches the Handlebars. You will have to extend the brake cables from the wheels, but it's cheap and easy to do.Just look up an instructional YouTube video. For the rear I found a universal cable on Ebay,it must be at least 6 foot. Then trim down the old rear one for the front and your done. Good Luck
