  1. Yes go to Luna and they should gave the setting to open up the top speed and different settings. Like how fast to take off called ramp and many others. It has to be an aftermarket one though not from Sondors. Just Google your questions and you will have an afternoon of reading. Thanks,Tim.
  2. I'm running the original 350 watt motor with a 25 amp Controller and 48volt 14.8 amp with no problems what's so ever. I also went with a Luna dash instead of the Sondors. I've had it up to 28 mph. I recently built a 3,000 watt Cyclone on a $189 Walmart Mongoose Dolomite with the mid drive and the 8 gears it's real fun! Using the same battery that I had for my Sondors Thin.
  3. Thin Fenders

Yep it was a typo error as I went to the customers rating photos and they were full size nice looking fenders. I think they would look good on a Sondors. Post a photo when you get them in. Thanks,Tim.
  4. Thin Fenders

I looked at the specs on the fenders from Amazon and it said they were 2" wide and 8" long. I wonder if it was a typo error as they look longer than 8". I measured my front fender and it is 12" and my back fender is 15". Thanks,Tim.
  5. Thin Fenders

I agree with you. They were cheap enough to order another set.
  6. Yes I agree. I'll try some of the electrical tape that is rubbery and sticks to itself. Thank you, Tim from flat and windy Kansas.
  7. Here is my aluminum water bottle holder that I got at Walmart for $5.99. I used 2 zip ties to hold it on and haven't had any problems so far.
  8. Here is my Sondors Thin with a Electro Bike World LT48v 14Ah Battery,25 amp controller and a KT-LCD3 dashboard. Everything fit perfect. The wires were all long enough and had an extra red plug for a headlamp or horn setup. It took about 20 minutes to do everything. I put Velcro on the controller and packing foam under the battery that came in the packaging. I ran all the wires above the battery with no problems. I removed the 3 black rubber circle things for more battery clearance. I wired the stock 36v battery connector with the 48v one in case I would like to run the stock battery with the new controller. Thanks,Tim from flat and windy Kansas.
  9. I'm receiving today from FedEx a Electro Bike World, Lindsey Nguyen (Wen) LT48V 14Ah Lithium battery $499, 25 amp 36-52v KT controller $65 and a KT-LCD3 dash $60 for a total of $624. Shipping is free and only took 3 working days! I'll let you know how it performs on my Thin with stock 350 watt motor. Thank you, Tim from flat and windy Kansas.
  10. I bought a set of black plastic fenders from Wish.com for $3.40 plus $3.00 shipping. I think they look good but a little flimsy but hey for $6.40 you can't go wrong!
  11. Thin tubes and tires

Believe it or not I found a perfect knobby tire from Walmart that matches my Thin tire dimensions of 700x38c or 28"x1 5/8"x1 1/2". They are $51.98 for 2 delivered. I'll give them a try and let you know how they perform on our Kansas sandy roads. Thank you,Tim from flat and windy Kansas.
  12. Thin tubes and tires

I would like to put a mountain bike type tire on my Thin. Does anyone know what the widest knobby type tread that I can put on my Thin? The tire now is a 28"x1 5/8"x1 1/2". I live in the country here in Kansas with alot of sandy roads. I kinda wished I would of bought a Fat Sondors instead of a Thin. They are easier to upgrade than a Thin. Today I ordered from Electro Bike World a LT48v 14Ah Battery at $499, 25amp KT Controller at $65 and a KT-LDC3 at $60 to put on my Thin as this is the biggest upgrade that I can do to my Thin at this time. Please let me know about a wider tire upgrade. Thank you,Tim from windy Kansas.
  13. Thin front suspension forks

My Thin is the girly looking light blue pearl. But if I can find a white, silver or even black I would be happy. Color isn't a issue as I worked in body shops as a painter for 28 years. Thank you for replying. Tim from Kansas.
